Our 2013-2014 Season

Our new season combines the traditional (violin duo, early music) with the absolutely new - trombone quartet.

Guidonian Hand

We open our new season with the Guidonian Hand, an astonishing trombone quartet. As an exhilarating addition to New York's vibrant music scene, the Hand has performed extensively in the New York metropolitan area at such venues as the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, Le Poisson Rouge, The Stone, The Juilliard School, and many others. They have been featured artists at the International Trombone Festival (Texas) and have toured nationwide. They were the recipients of a 2012 Chamber Music America Grant.

Francesca Anderegg

Violinist Francesca Anderegg brings a regional touch to our series. Her composer husband studied at WVU and she frequently includes his work on her programs. She holds degrees from Harvard and the Juilliard School and she has performed standard repertoire and contemporary works to wide acclaim as a soloist and chamber musician.

Les Délices

The early music group Les Délices present dynamic performances of masterpieces and little-known works from the French Baroque. Les Délices brings together five artists with national reputations who share a passion for this exquisite yet seldom heard repertoire. Their performances on period instruments allow them to explore a rich tapestry of tone colors. In addition to touring engagements the ensemble is Artist in Residence at Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights, OH.

Aron Berkner Duo

The Aron Berkner Duo is a beguiling combination of flute and guitar who have been captivating concert audiences for over a decade. Their repertoire spans the flute/guitar masterworks and includes works specially written for them. They perform across the US, and appearances in Italy have led to an annual summer chamber music festival, Suonare in Italia.
