Individual tickets are available for all of our concerts but our subscription rate provides great savings as well as helping to assure the ongoing financial stability of our society. All concerts are held at St. Peter the Fisherman Church, Jackson Street in downtown Fairmont,WV at 3:00 PM or 7:30 PM on Sundays.
St. Peter may be entered with low physical effort through the side entrance and a new elevator has been installed next to the Jackson Street entrance.
Contact John Ashton for advance tickets. Tickets are available at the door. St. Peters is a large church with beautiful acoustics. We'll see you there. These programs are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Lysy/Hoy cello and piano duo


Antonio Lysy has performed as soloist worldwide in major concert halls with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic, Zurich Tonhalle, the Montreal and Toronto orchestras and more. He is also artistic director of Incontri In Terra di Siena.
Pianist Patricia Hoy has appeared with major symphony orchestras, as faculty pianist at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts and is on the faculty of the University of British Columbia.

Sonic Escape


Sonic Escape , a violin, flute and cello trio, stretches our roots by performing a rich blend of classical music spanning 400 years and folk music from over fifteen countries. They have received awards from the Canada Council for the Arts as well as a Chamber Music America Residency Grant.

Montclaire String Quartet


The Montclaire String Quartet last played for us in 2008. They are the resident quartet of the West Virginia Symphony. Highlights of the quartet’s recent seasons include a concert on the Terrace Theater Series at Washington's Kennedy' Center. A special one-hour TV broadcast of the Quartet's performance on the Arts and Letters Series at the West Virginia Governor's Mansion was seen throughout the state on WV Public Television. In the ’08-09 season they were awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Grant to present works by American Composers.

Petar Jankovic Ensemble


The Petar Jankovic Ensemble is a unique combination of one of the leading guitarists of his generation with a traditional string quartet. They cover a wide repertoire from early music jewels to traditional Spanish works by Albeniz, DeFalla and Granados, passionate Piazzolla tangos and rich Brazilian music. This crossover ensemble is unique to our series and unique in the world of music.

As such, donors who contribute to the Foundation may deduct their contributions as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers or gifts to the FCMS Inc. or for its use are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions of sections 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the Code. In "English", this means that a donor may contribute to the FCMS, Inc. and take a tax deduction for that donation on their Federal Income Tax return.
