Individual tickets are available for all of our concerts but our subscription rate provides great savings as well as helping to assure the ongoing financial stability of our society. All concerts are held at St. Peter the Fisherman Church, Jackson Street in downtown Fairmont,WV at 3:00 PM or 7:30 PM on Sunday evenings.
St. Peter may be entered with low physical effort through the side entrance and a new elevator has been installed next to the Jackson Street entrance.
Contact John Ashton for advance tickets. Tickets are available at the door. St. Peters is a large church with beautiful acoustics. We'll see you there.

Our 2011-2012 Season

ASHU


We open our thirtieth season with the brilliant young saxophonist Ashu. His solo appearances have taken him throughout Norway, Switzerland, Germany and Austria, with upcoming concerts in Australia, New Zealand and the Baltic. He has been featured on NBC, CBS and NPR and regularly tours as a soloist with orchestras throughout the USA and Europe. Critics have called him "Riveting, Brilliant, Pizazz to Burn".

Ensemble Radieuse


Ensemble Radieuse is a flexible trio of flute, oboe and piano. Their repertoire spans the Baroque to the present day and from the familiar to the surprising. They have performed on three continents and were prize winners in the 2006 National Flute Assoc. Chamber Music Competition. Ensemble Radieuse’s premiere CD, Inbox, was released in the spring of 2003.

The Vinca Quartet


The Vinca Quartet is currently string quartet in residence at the Stuttgart Hochschule für Musik. Top prize winners in the 2010 Yellow Springs International Chamber music Competition and the 2008 International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition, they have performed in major concert halls in the US (Carnegie Hall), Germany (Weikerscheim Schloss) and France (Les Invalides). They have also been featured on public radio across the US and Europe. They have consistently won the hearts of audiences with their dynamic interpretations, inventive programming and thought provoking discussions.

Merling Trio


The Merling Trio will conclude our thirtieth season. The violin, cello and piano trio is recognized as one of today's premier ensembles. A truly international trio, it brings together musicians from Polish, Japanese and Dutch backgrounds. They have played throughout the US, Canada and Europe, they made their Carnegie Hall debut in 1993 and were named finalist for the Naumberg Foundation Chamber Music Award in 1994. They are in residence at the School of Music at Western Michigan University.

As such, donors who contribute to the Foundation may deduct their contributions as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers or gifts to the FCMS Inc. or for its use are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions of sections 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the Code. In "English", this means that a donor may contribute to the FCMS, Inc. and take a tax deduction for that donation on their Federal Income Tax return.
