Individual tickets are available for all of our concerts but our subscription rate provides great savings as well as helping to assure the ongoing financial stability of our society. All concerts are held at St. Peter the Fisherman Church, Jackson Street in downtown Fairmont,WV at 3:00 PM (winter) or 7:30 PM on Sunday evenings
Contact John Ashton for advance tickets. Tickets are available at the door. St. Peters is a large church with beautiful acoustics. We'll see you there.
These programs are presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. The elevator is next to the Jackson Street entrance.

Karkowska Sisters


We welcome the return of the Karkowska Sisters violin and piano Duo. They are an award winning, internationally acclaimed ensemble that performs extraordinary programs of virtuosity and laughter full of beautiful music, unforgettable stories and comedy. They have toured both in North America and Europe to standing ovations and rave reviews and have recorded programs for Polish, Mexican and American National Television and Radio. They last played for us in 1999 and since then have triumphed at many prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Guitarist Robert Gruca


Guitarist Robert Gruca, who performed for us in 2006 has since then played solo concerts in over a dozen venues in the United States, including Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York, as well as Ontario, Canada. He toured the eastern United States and Europe with the Cleveland Orchestra performing Mahler's Symphony No. 7 under the direction of Franz Welser-Most and has continued to perform frequently with the orchestra. His newest compact disc including the music of Handel was released under the MSR record label in 2010.

West Virginia Horn Trio


The West Virginia Horn Trio continues our policy of presenting the best of our state's musical talent. Pianist James Miltenberger, violinist Mikylah Myers McTeer and horn player Virginia Thompson will present a program of horn, violin and piano works including the beautiful Horn Trio of Johannes Brahms, often considered one of the composer's finest chamber compositions.

Scarborough Trio


The Scarborough Trio will conclude our twenty-ninth season. The flute, bassoon and piano trio has performed throughout the country, they were awarded the Silver Medal at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and with percussionist Greg Beyer their program will include arrangements of a West Side Story Suite and the Bolling Suite for flute and jazz piano trio

As such, donors who contribute to the Foundation may deduct their contributions as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Service Code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers or gifts to the FCMS Inc. or for its use are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the applicable provisions of sections 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the Code. In "English", this means that a donor may contribute to the FCMS, Inc. and take a tax deduction for that donation on their Federal Income Tax return.
